In this third blog of listing creation, we will focus on the third step, which is how to add a product inside seller central. Be sure to check all the blogs to ensure you are well-informed about the entire process.

STEPS OF LISTING CREATION ON AMAZON:

Once you have created the content of listing (Title, bullet points, description and search terms) the job becomes easy. You just have to add information by copying it and pasting inside the seller central.

The listing creation inside seller central dashboard consist of following tabs:

  1.  Login to seller central

  2. Go to add a product option
  3. Select I’m adding a product not sold on Amazon

  4.  Select category
  5.   Select attribute e.g. Required, Relevant, All attributes

 ADD INFO TO PRODUCT IDENTITY:

·         Item name: This refers to the specific name or title given to the product being listed on Amazon

·         Brand Name: This indicates the brand or manufacturer of the product.

·         External product ID: This is an identification code assigned to the product by the manufacturer or seller. E.g. UPC, ISBN, EAN

 VITAL INFO:

The metrics under the Vital info tab are following:

·         Description: This is a detailed text section where sellers can provide comprehensive information about their product, including its features, benefits, uses, specifications, and any other relevant details

·         Bullet points: Bullet points are concise, bulleted lists that highlight key features and benefits of the product.

·         Item type name: This refers to the category or type of product that the listing belongs to. It helps categorize the product accurately within Amazon's catalog

·         model name: The model name specifies the particular model or version of the product being sold.

·         model number: The model number is a unique identifier assigned to a specific product model.

·         manufacturer: This indicates the company or entity that manufactures or produces the product.

·         model Year: This refers to the year in which the product model was released or manufactured.


2.       OFFER:

The metrics provided under "Offer" are essential elements of the offer details for products listed on Amazon. This include the following metrics:

·         Contribution SKU: This is the unique identifier assigned to the product within the seller's inventory management system

·         Quantity: Quantity refers to the number of units of the product available for sale in the listing

·         Sales Option: This includes various parameters related to the sales offer such as sales price, starting date, End date, Offering Release date.

·         Your price: This refers to the actual price of the product to be added.

·         Offering Condition type: This refers to the product condition such as new, old etc.

·         Merchant release date: This refers to the date at which your product will be available to the customer.

·         Maximum order quantity: This section refers to how much a customer can order at one time.

·         Gift option: This indicates whether the product listing offers the option for gift wrapping or gift messaging.

·         Fulfillment Channel which is FBA and FBM.

3.       PRODUCT DETAIL:

The metrics listed under "Product Detail" provide specific information about the characteristics and details of the product being listed on Amazon. This include following metrics:

·         Generic keywords/ search term: These refers to the back-end search term which can be included to increase the discoverability of product on amazon.

·         Material Type: plastic, metallic etc.

·         Number of items:  This refers to the number of identical items in a Box.

·         Color: This refers to the color and color map of the product to be listed. It may include specific colors and color variations, represented either as text or through a color map.

·         Size: Size indicates the dimensions or measurements of the product, such as its length, width, and height.

·         Number of pieces: This specifies the total number of individual pieces or components included in the product Box.

·         Care instructions: This refers to the care instructions you want to tell customer about the product.

·         Unit Count and type: This indicates the count and type of units included in the product listing. It may specify whether the product is sold as a single unit, multipack, set or bundle,

·         Item dimension: Item dimensions provide precise measurements of the product in terms of its length, width, and height.

4.       VARIATIONS:

This refers to the variation based on size, color, style and other attributes related to single product in amazon listing. It flexibility to offer customers a range of choices within a single product listing, streamlining the shopping experience and increasing the likelihood of conversions.

This metric of amazon product listing provide seller to manage following attributes:

·         Sellers can add different variations of the product by specifying attributes such as size, color, material, etc.

·         Sellers can manage the inventory for each variation separately, tracking stock levels and availability.

·         Sellers can set different prices for each variation based on factors like size, color, or other attributes.

·         Sellers can upload images specific to each variation, allowing customers to see the product in different options before making a purchase.

·         Sellers can edit details such as titles, descriptions, and other attributes for each variation to ensure accuracy and relevance.

·         Sellers can choose to enable or disable certain variations based on availability or other factors. 

5.       IMAGES:

 This refers to upload images which are related to product to be listing on amazon. Sellers can upload up to 9 images of their product from different angles, showcasing its various features and details. Sellers must adhere to Amazon's image guidelines regarding size, format, resolution, and content to avoid rejection. Images should be optimized for mobile viewing to ensure clarity and appeal on smaller screens

6.       SHIPPING:
